Live Online #84: Return

I’m back from South Africa with my creative batteries replenished and my phasers set to chill. We had a fantastic time, reconnecting with friends I haven’t seen in years, and doing some of the more touristy things in Cape Town for the benefit of Emily’s brother who visited SA for the first time.

Now that I’m back in the saddle I’m surprised to find it doesn’t chafe half as much as I thought it would.

Live Online #81: Solitude

Woot, this time next week I’ll be in South Africa – so excited. I haven’t seen my family since Emily and my wedding in March last year.

What about your weekly MLO set, you may ask? Well, never you fear, ’cause I have two sets archived to tie you over until I’m back. They’ll appear here at the regular time on a Sunday evening.

Also very excited about a plan to involve you (yes, YOU!) in these sets once I’m back – but more about that later.

Live Online #80: Station

On my feet again after two days in bed with a fever – probably just a change of seasons thing, and rather now than in two weeks’ time when Em. and I will be visiting my family in South Africa.

Out of sympathy, my streaming service also came down with something and I was unable to play my regular Substance show today. Here instead the Azure show I recorded yesterday. I wasn’t feeling too hot when I recorded it, so I wasn’t expecting too much. But listening to it again now, it’s no worse than usual ;^)

I’ve been using Ryan Gruss’ The Art of Brushes to death for these sets, so I’m very pleased to see he’s just released a second volume of the same. Variety coming right up!
