It’s been a fun weekend, doing a couple of Further East album launches in Second Life and celebrating the release with a small group of friends here in Taichung on Saturday night. If you missed my online presentations about the album, you can listen to it in podcast form here.

With the album launch now mostly out of the way, it’s time to start focusing on my presentation for the Creative Commons remixing workshop scheduled for December 18th in Taipei. I’m looking forward to it!

In anticipation of the release of the Further East album on the 26th, I’ve cobbled together a video for the deep house track “Inbetween”. It features public domain footage I found in the Prelinger Archives of sexy Shereé doing her original tiger dance. It’s fun!

The APC20 controller is in place and I think have it set up nicely alongside the BCR2000. It suddenly opens up a world of direct access to as many faders as you have fingers. Hopefully you can hear a slight shift in these sets as I toy with the possibilities.
